Øystein Lasse Tynning
b. 1972
Øystein Lasse Tynning (b. 1972) grew up with roots at Søndre Valler in Porsgrunn, the youngest child of Åsmund and Bjørg Tynning. His middle name, Lasse, comes from his grandfather.
In 1998 he helped start Just Cruzin’ Production after a school party at Chateau Neuf. What began with a cruise dream and one successful party grew into JCP — a communications house with teams in experiences, PR, retail, travel and production.
Today Øystein is first and foremost the founder of JCP and WAL. He is executive chairman of JCP, co-owner and board member of WAL, and chair of the Sponsorship and Event Association, SHE Conference, Ordtilhandling and several of the companies in the JCP family. He is married to Johanne Taugbøl, and together they have their sons Lasse, born in 2014, and Amund, born in 2018. In parallel he is building this digital family archive, so that the stories from Valler, Brekke and the family can be passed on to them and to new generations.

Øystein married Johanne Taugbøl in 2012. The wedding gathered the family across its branches, and several of the photographs in the archive were taken that same evening.
